HISTORY

FOUNDER of the B.I.M.A. was the LATE Mr.TERRY PRESTON

B.I.M.A. was FORMED in 1987 where the FIRST B.I.M.A. CHAMPIONSHIPS were held in DEWSBURY, WEST YORKSHIRE, the HOME Town of the LATE Mr.TERRY PRESTON

In 1990 B.I.M.A. Mr.Dave Lucas as the new B.I.M.A. Co-Ordinator took over, and a YEAR was needed to sort out all the paperwork sent by Mrs.JEAN PRESTON

Throughout the 1990's B.I.M.A. progressed steadily and now having 1000 MAJORETTE'S in MEMBERSHIP and now are a REGISTERED CHARITY

In 1999 B.I.M.A. became Members of the EUROPEAN MAJORETTE ASSOCIATION
